#CancelTropangLOL: ELF's air their disappointment over noontime show insensitivity

On August 6, Hallyu Kings, Hallyu Kings Super Junior postponed their Manila concert.

It was already known that member SIWON won't be able to join after testing positive for Covid-19, but on the day of their departure to Manila, it was reported that member EUNHYUK's father passed away. This resulted to the rest of the members flying to manila to do a meet & greet instead.

We've had discussions until 3am to decide on what to do. To give you more fun, excitement, and hope, this concert is not canceled but rather postponed. It's like you guys buying the tickets early. I requested for the promoter to give you 2 days next time. When we come back, Siwon will be in the center, and my doppelganger, Eunhyuk, will be by my side. It was a heartbreaking night for Super Junior and ELFs. LEETUEK, YESUNG, SHINDONG, DONGHAE, RYEOWOOK and KYUNHYUN still appeared on stage and performed 3 songs for the fans. They told the fans that they were very sorry and they will surely be back again soon.

PH ELFs and International ELFs were both very understanding of the situation and could wish nothing more for the group, but peace of mind, good health and to cheer up.

Just a few days after the meet & greet, TV5's noon time show "Tropang LOL" included the incident in one of their segments called "Maritest"

~ Talk about adding salt to the wound... A very fresh wound, I might add. ~

In the clip, it was seen that host Alex Gonzaga asked comedian, Pooh about the incident that happened to the group. More than the insensitive question, it was seen that the other cast who participated in the show made other jokes using the group's name.

Both PH and International ELF's took to twitter their disappointment in the show. Even other fandoms took notice of the issue and emphasized how it is not proper to use someone else's loss and grief as content.

She also expressed her disappointment towards the pre-noontime show "Tropang LOL".
