The comeback of Bootleg Shirts from the 90's and where to cop one!

It was back in the 1980's - 1990's when bootleg shirts became a fad.  To bands like The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Fleetwood Mac --- bootleg shirts were a pain in the a**.  As stated in an old article from Billboard, managers and promoters went out of their way to hire private investigators just to find "bootleggers" -- as these illegally sold items were affecting the management income coming from band merch.

Fast forward to today, bootleg items --- particularly shirts has become a trend and is now adopted by big brands and even music agencies.

If we're being honest, the design style of bootleg shirts are actually quite odd and looks like a weird combination of magazine cutouts, old low res photos and typography from Photoshop 7 that used almost everything in the "Blending Options" window.   But, it's probably that old (vintage), offbeat style that made way for that design style to back in every fashionista's closet.  And as we all know "VINTAGE" is also now a trend on its own.

Big mainstream fashion brands has added "bootleg" designed shirts to their collections since a few years back.  Mainstream fashion brands like Forever 21 and Cotton On.  Streetwear brands like Vetements or Kanye West's Yeezy has them too.  Most of these shirts can be quite expensive especially to budget fashionista's, but fret not!
